Essential Criteria:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Working towards a bachelor’s degree in construction management or similar field preferred
• Prior construction or related experience preferred
• Valid Driver’s License required
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
• Ability to quickly learn and operate heavy construction machinery and equipment
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assist with managing projects with subcontractors
• Handle incoming customer calls/inquiries
• Assist with communicating with clients and subcontractors
• Help manage construction project calendar
• Assist and learn how to estimate project scope and costs
• Track purchases, deliveries and invoices; apply invoices against purchase orders
• Provide onsite management of construction projects
• Assist with writing proposals for smaller projects
• Manage project documents internally
• Attend internal status meetings as required
• Attend prospective field visits/walkthroughs
• Stay current with changing technology, including software programs
• Uphold, support, and promote all company policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned
