Primary Purpose:

Support the marketing team in the creation, revision, and production of technical documents, including brochures, supporting literature, and visual illustrations. Responsibilities also include updating sales process documentation, printing and packaging materials, and operating production equipment such as a large-format printer, plotter, and cutter to prepare assets for internal and community use.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Assist with design and layout of technical documents and photo pages. Designs may integrate typographic, photographic, illustrative, video and graphic elements.
2. Work closely with graphic designers to ensure consistency of Musco’s identity through advertisements, direct mail, presentations, brochures, and websites.
3. Coordinate design elements from concept to final production. Communicate and build relationships with internal team members to produce materials in an accurate and timely manner.
4. Evaluate sales tools to ensure a consistent message and standard of quality.
5. Operate production printer and plotter to print finalized documents, including internal materials and community project deliverables. Ensure output quality and troubleshoot basic print issues as needed.
6. Keep current on graphic trends and technologies through trade publications and educational training opportunities.
7. Experiment with new tools / technology and evaluate effectiveness.
8. Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree or two years related experience and/or training.

2. Proven ability to manage and complete multiple projects efficiently and effectively.

4. Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, AutoCAD, and Inventor; familiarity with video editing software is a plus.
5. Strong design and illustration skills, with the ability to develop and produce high-quality sales tools. Knowledge of pre-press workflows and production printing processes is required.
6. Skilled at translating complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and visually compelling illustrations.
7. Sound judgment and decision-making aligned with Musco’s mission and marketing goals.
8. Exceptional attention to detail across design, layout, and production tasks.
9. Demonstrated problem-solving ability, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving challenges.

Other Special Requirements:

1. Some travel and night/weekend work possible
