Fulltime Custodian

The Musco Team has an opening for a Custodian in our Des Moines area facilities. If your experience aligns with the qualifications outlined below, we look forward to hearing from you!

What you will do as a Custodian:

1. Perform daily custodial functions to maintain clean and safe work environment to include maintaining floors, break areas, restrooms, offices and workspaces, common areas, et al.
2. Reset conference rooms to prepare the space for use
3. Stock beverages for Team
4. Perform or schedule general facility maintenance (touch up paint, vehicle maintenance, etc.)
5. Maintain all cleaning equipment as needed to ensure proper performance
6. Order supplies and beverages as needed
7. Other duties as assigned

What you need to be successful:

1. Basic knowledge of cleaning requirements
2. Good work ethic and takes pride in work
3. Ability to meet physical requirements of job
4. Ability to prioritize and complete multiple duties
5. Must be self-directed and able to work independently
6. Ability to communicate effectively with and teach other team members
7. Basic computer knowledge a plus, excel a plus
8. Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check.

Other Considerations:

1. GED required / high school diploma
2. Previous custodial experience preferred
