Global Marketing Development Specialist

The Musco Global Operations Team is currently seeking a Global Marketing Development Specialist to work from our Oskaloosa office. This position will focus on working cooperatively with Sales, Marketing, and other members of the distribution team to enhance overall sales operations processes and provide business analysis, reporting, and coordinate marketing initiatives to develop materials and campaigns that support sales goals and objectives. What you will do as a Global Marketing Development Specialist:

  • Liaise with marketing to identify needed marketing material and be point person for developmental sales in new marketing initiatives including sales brochures, case studies, and articles that will drive visibility and increase Musco awareness in the market.
  • Assist with managing social media content, web stories, and photo pages for global regions. Monitor relevant social media activity and coordinate approvals from sales reps, ensuring that content aligns with ongoing sales initiatives. Review marketing’s social media plans and suggest adjustments to improve alignment with sales goals.
  • Coordinate marketing and sales requirements for tradeshows, including fixture samples, follow-up reports, lead capture, giveaway items, and 3D model demos. Collaborate with marketing to manage promotional materials, including landing pages, flyers, and banners.
  • Provide ongoing support for international marketing contacts and assist with the creation and translation of brochures, datasheets, and other documents.
  • Gather project details from sales reps for the creation of marketing content. Assist with the development of external presentations and informational packets that promote Musco’s products and services, ensuring that materials align with corporate goals and reflect current market trends.
  • Partner with marketing on year-end planning for regional goals and marketing initiatives. Lead collaboration efforts for special projects, social media campaigns, and process improvements to enhance overall efficiency.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between sales and marketing, handling a wide range of requests, feedback, and support questions from both teams. Facilitate communication between sales reps and marketing to ensure alignment on promotional strategies and marketing goals.
  • Coordinate details of events such as sales meetings and training, business meetings, virtual events, and customer visits, ensuring all promotional and training materials are consistent with the Musco brand and effectively engage the target audience.

What you need to be successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, International Studies, or a technical field preferred
  • Two years previous experience in a technical customer support role is preferred
  • Excellent verbal, written, and telephone communication skills
  • Self-directed within a team environment with the ability to manage multiple tasks at one time
  • Detailed, organized, and results driven with the ability to solve problems
  • Exhibits proficiency in computer skills and use of the Musco project management system
  • Understanding of Musco and company business practices
  • Knowledge of the sales and marketing processes

Other Special Requirements:

  • Occasional overtime and weekend hours may be needed
  • Occasional international travel may be needed
