Security Manager

The Musco Team is excited to announce an opening for a Security Manager at our corporate campus in Oskaloosa, IA. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, implementing, and overseeing security programs for the Oskaloosa corporate campus to safeguard the Musco Sports Lighting team, facilities, and assets. We are looking for candidates who has expertise in security management, strong communication, and effective collaboration with key stakeholders. Essential Criteria:

• Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, security management, or related field.
• At least 3+ years experience in security management, preferably in a business or corporate setting.
• Strong knowledge of security technologies, emergency response protocols, and risk assessment practices.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a talent for building and maintaining relationships
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Innovative critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Team-oriented and goal-driven
• Familiarity with Musco solutions is a plus

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a security plan aligned with Musco's mission. Perform risk assessments to identify areas of opportunities and create policies and implement best practices to address them.
• Recruit, train, and supervise security staff. Create schedules, assign responsibilities, and monitor staff performance. Ensure coverages for all shifts and company events.
• Manage daily operations to provide 24/7 security.
• Evaluate current security infrastructure and recommend enhancements to security systems and practices. Work with Musco's Facilities and Safety teams when necessary to upgrade or maintain existing security infrastructure.
• Stay informed about relevant laws and regulations.
• Develop and conduct security drills and training sessions, partnering with Facilities and Safety teams as needed.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services for support.
