Soccer Market Manager

Department: Soccer Development
Location: Oskaloosa, IA

The Musco Developmental Sales Team is seeking a Soccer Market Manager to work from our Oskaloosa, Iowa . The primary goal is to manage the Mini-Pitch Sales Team, explore market potential, and test strategies to grow soccer sales globally. What will you do as a Soccer Market Manager (based in Oskaloosa, IA)

Leadership

  • Manage Mini-Pitch Sales Team and oversee sales projections and execution
  • Track sales progress and development of core, foundational soccer relationships

Global and Domestic Strategy Alignment

  • Research and identify trends, success factors, and market potential for the global soccer market
  • Facilitate communication and alignment between global soccer initiatives

Sales Development

  • Work with customers to identify project-specific requirements for sales materials, product, and promotion
  • Work with the Team to develop streamlined processes for the sale, production, and installation of product and service solutions
  • Identify key markets domestically and internationally to expand the Mini-Pitch and soccer development initiative

Building Relationships and Partnerships

  • Build relationships with and coordinate activities for US-based soccer partnership programs
  • Build relationships within Musco to develop sales, marketing, engineering, production, and R&D needed to support the soccer market
  • Identify key partnerships globally to continue to impact Mini-Pitch and lighting sales at an international level

What you need to be successful

  • A degree in business, communications, or marketing
  • 5 years of marketing or sales experience preferred
  • Multi-lingual in Spanish and English preferred
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to understand the shared vision for product and market development and provide tactical strategies to make it happen
  • A proven track record of developing and executing on marketing plans, promotions, communications, and materials
  • Ability to focus on and communicate customer needs to Team
  • Ability to research data to identify market trends and success factors
  • Creative and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Technical aptitude – ability to learn and teach technical concepts and information
  • Able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast paced, team environment
  • Strong computer skills
  • Enjoy working in a constantly changing team environment
  • Travel and night/weekend work likely
