Driver / Material Handler

The Musco Specialty Manufacturing Team has an opening for a Driver / Material Handler at our Oskaloosa office. If your experience aligns with the qualifications outlined below, we look forward to hearing from you!

Essential Criteria:

• Have a valid Class A CDL or ability to obtain.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience with shop machinery operations, preferred.
• Fork truck certification and completion of safety course.
• Valid driving license.
• Basic mathematical skills.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Data entry using excel and various other internal programs to create and/or process reports as requested.
• Accurately create bill of ladings.
• Securing cargo and properly arranging it within vehicle.
• Pre trip inspections.
• Maneuver vehicles, including flatbed trucks, cubevans, and vehicles of various size and capacity into loading or unloading positions.
• Work on various assigned project tasks.
• Build wooden pallets for final shipment of product.
• Load and unload vehicle at shipping dock & vendors dock as needed.
• Review and verify packing slip and purchase requests provided by purchasing department and vendor to ensure accuracy.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pm, overtime as needed.
