Accountant

The Musco Korea Team has an opening for an Accountant at our office in Incheon, Korea. If your experience aligns with the qualifications outlined below, we look forward to hearing from you!

Essential Criteria:

• A degree in Accounting is required; however, candidates with equivalent 3 to 5 years of experience in the accounting & finance field will also be considered.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
• Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; energetic and team-oriented.
• High level of professionalism and commitment to quality work.
• Ability to read, speak, and write Korean. Ability to read and respond to English utilizing current technology and systems. Bi-lingual skills in English and Korean is preferred but not required.
• Ability to analyze information and draw connections between different reports that are created.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Bank business
  • Prepare HSBC bank transfer form for salary, expenses, etc.
  • Pay customs duty, taxes, and Giro, etc from domestic bank
  • Review and manage “Authenticated Certificate”
• Salary and Payroll
  • Create a payroll sheet and mail to individual employees
  • Work on year-end settlement
  • Insurance Qualification Management – report employee company insurance entitlements (national pension, health insurance, employment insurance and workers’ compensation insurance)
  • Review withholding tax and communication with labor firms
• Manufacturing Accounting
  • Entry of general income and expenses into accounting software
  • Update the cash flow and daily report of fund
  • AP, AR handling
  • Handle the paperwork for customs clearance
  • Invoice check and invoice issue (to Musco U.S. or Musco China)
• Tax filing
  • VAT calculation and filing
• Annual documents
  • Submit documents of Seoul guarantee insurance
• Assist with other tasks related to closing accounts
• Support for internal and external audits
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
